Firetale Showreel
Firetale was started in 2013. I started as a content creator pursuing my passion of story-telling through beautifully captured moments. The business quickly grew from just me to four full-time staff and several contractors. Through the business, I traveled the world with international clients, in the process winning two business awards acknowledging my efforts. I currently work as a sole trader today, partnering with clients to develop their business, marketing, communications, and digital products.

I worked closely with subject matter experts on the People & Culture team to design learning modules. This included working with the Articulate 360 suite and learning instructional design. A digital content specialist working across different content management systems including, SilverStripe, WordPress, SharePoint, Articulate360, Dyamucs 360, Adobe & Microsoft 365 suites.
I am also an experienced communications advisor and wrote the key stakeholder comms strategy for digital products, how-to guides, news stories, and technical product write-ups.
I was also tasked with the phase two build of the organization’s intranet. Quickly adapted to the situation learning the program SharePoint and becoming an expert in the organization who could use the application. Also delivered SharePoint training to the organization, assisted with Ohu Mahi induction project, and assisted with phase two build of the organization’s website.

The Learning Enrichment Foundation | Toronto, Canada | Jan 2023-present
Tasked with building and implementing phase 1 of the intranet project. Provided training, strategy, presentations, and advice on the intranet project. Managed the social media accounts and provided digital strategy to grow an online community. Created marketing materials which included design, video, and copywriting. Successfully implemented an intranet across an organization of 500+. Wrote plan for phase 2 of the intranet.

Ministry of Education New Zealand | Senior Māori & Pacific Communications Advisor |Website Advisor 2020 - 2022 (12 Months)
Cultural advisor for the More Teachers in New Zealand campaign, web advisor for Teach NZ website, and advisor for the online consultation tool. Performed online audit on the Māori education strategy and Pacific Education strategy. Wrote internal processes for the online consultation tool for all the organization to utilize.
Web advisor for The Ministry consultation website, and main website education.govt. I was involved in a large content migration project when updating the Ministry website.
